General Bernard Law Montgomery

(1887-1976)

Montgomery was a World War II British general. He led his troops in Dunkirk, North Africa, D-day, and Operation Market Garden.

North Africa

He led the British 8^th army in North Africa. Ware he defeated Rommel at El almain and turn the British luck around in North Africa.

D-day

Montgomery was in charge of the invasion. This turns out to be success but as the war would go on his reputation will be weaken.

Operation Market Garden

This is the offensive that he planed to end the Nazi war machine. But it turned out to be one of Montgomery biggest failure.
